It was a great experience to be a part of the Duke of Edinburgh program. It is an award that requires a: Physical, Service and Learning criteria. I did body building and fitness for my physical recreation part. For service me and my classmates cleaned a local beach in Istanbul for a 3 month period. As for learning I took Spanish lessons, it was very enjoyable since its also such a beautiful language.
I am continuing to work on my Silver part of the program which takes 6 months to earn. I am over sixty percent done and close to earning my award. I am ambitious to earn gold next.
